Carl James Stewart

Carl James Stewart, 75 of Grafton, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015 from an auto accident. He was born November 30, 1939 in Taylor County, a son of the late Lee Ellis and Martha Bell Stewart. His wife Arizona Wolfe Stewart preceded him in death June 26, 2008.
Carl loved going to church and singing, and attended the Rev. Frank Hixenbaugh's Church. He loved playing the harmonica and building model cars. Carl worked at Walmart, G.B. Bread, and took care of his best friend and buddy, Billy.
He is survived by his stepchildren, Jack Wolfe, Lucreita, Mary Hines, Fred Wolfe Bonny Kemper, William Carl Wolfe, and Wilma Sandy, all of Grafton; sisters and brothers, Robert Stewart, Independence, Gloria Carpenter, OH, Karen Stewart, Norma Shuman, and Anna Mae Bolyard, all of Thornton.
Carl was preceded in death by six stepchildren, Robert Wolfe, Willard Wolfe, Delmas Wolfe, Teddy Wolfe, Willis Wolfe, and Lea Anna Bolyard; brothers, Ellis Stewart, Ray "Bud" Stewart, Dale Stewart, David Stewart, and Lee Edward Stewart.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave, on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 2-8 PM and on Saturday, January 24, 2015 and Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 12 Noon until time of funeral service at 2:00pm with the Pastor Carl Trickett officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Israel Cemetery.
