Bessie Pearl Austin

Bessie Pearl Austin, 79, of Coral Springs, Florida formerly of Grafton passed away peacefully March 2, 2015 in Boca Raton, Florida.

Bessie was born August 5, 1935 in Thornton, West Virginia to the late Elman & Jessie DeMoss. On March 31, 1967, she married Edward W. Austin.

She is survived by her daughter, Janet Austin, three grandchildren, Melissa Jones (Doug), Gerald Austin Jr. (Jennifer), and Robert Austin (Nasanet) ; five great-grandchildren, Kyla Abell, Dillon Abell, Colin Jones, Aidan Jones, & Eliana Austin ; her sister Mildred Markley of West Virginia, her brother Paul DeMoss of West Virginia & several nieces and nephews.

Bessie was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved her family very much. She was a housewife who enjoyed cooking, sewing, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, camping and fishing with her husband and daughter, playing bingo and going to the casino. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Friends will be received at Bartlett Funeral Home 202 McGraw Ave Grafton, WV 26354 on Friday March 13, 2015, from 3pm until time of service at 7 pm. with Rev. Sue Lowther officiating.
